What should I expect from the first consultation?
It all begins with a positive attitude. You should expect a supportive trainer who will encourage you to achieve the nutrition and fitness goals you set forth. All that is needed for the first consultation is an open mind, the rest will fall into place.
Will I be advised to be on a restrictive diet?
No, a restrictive diet will not be advised. The approach towards long-lasting, sustainable lifestyle practices is moderation. All foods fit and can be crafted to have more nutritional benefits. Restrictive approaches will not be advised but if there are any foods/nutrients that need to be closely monitored together we will establish those boundaries.
How long is the free consultation?
The initial consultation will take about 45-60 minutes. This can be done virtually or in a space that is convenient for both. This consultation will consist of getting acquainted to one-another and discussing fitness and nutritional goals that you have. We will gather assessment measurements, discuss questions, and fill out forms/agreements that will guarantee safety for us both.
What is the time commitment per week?
The time commitment per week will vary on the availability of your schedule. Sessions may range from 30 minutes to 90 minutes and occur multiple times per week. The frequency of sessions and their durations will be discussed during our initial, free consultation.
What is the average cost of 1:1 Training?
The average cost of 1:1 training can vary from $60 up to $100 per session. Pricing is determined based on your needs and your availability. Session packages can be established giving you more bang for your buck.
What should I bring to 1:1 training sessions?
What should be brought to a 1:1 training session would be a water bottle, gym attire, and an optimistic mindset.
What if I have a limited range of motion (ROM), can I still exercise?
Yes, if you have a limited range of motion or an injury (with a practitioners clearance) you will still be able to train. An individualized exercise plan will be established for you so you are able to meet those realistic, fitness goals.
